Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to draft, schedule, and publish with Salamnder Social Studio.

Our commitment

Salamnder Social Studio aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA for the public site, the account portal, and the studio. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time checkbox, and we review new pages against that standard before they ship.

What is in place

  • Every page has a skip link, a single main landmark, labelled navigation regions, and a declared language.
  • Colour pairs in both light and dark themes are checked by automated contrast tests against WCAG AA minimums.
  • Forms use visible labels and required-field markers, and errors are shown in plain text on the page.
  • Interactive controls are reachable and operable with a keyboard, with visible focus styles.
  • Tap targets on small screens meet the 44 × 44 pixel minimum and form text does not trigger browser zoom.
  • The site respects your reduced-motion and colour-scheme preferences.
  • Everything you can do in the browser you can also do through the REST API or an MCP assistant, which works with screen readers and voice input in the client you already use.

Known limitations

  • Media previews and video rendering in the studio are visual by nature. Draft text, captions, and alt text remain fully accessible, and we ask you to supply alt text for images you post.
  • Content you publish to LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, or Threads is displayed by those platforms under their own accessibility practices, which we do not control.
  • We have not yet completed a third-party accessibility audit. Automated and manual checks are performed in-house.

Report a barrier

If something on this site is hard to use with assistive technology, email sal@salamndersocialstudio.com with the subject “Accessibility”, the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five business days and to fix confirmed barriers or give you another way to complete the task. If you need an alternative format of any policy on this site, ask and we will provide one.
