Version 2026-10-07. This is the live product contract, not legal advice.
Salamnder Social Studio (the “Service”) is a paid multi-tenant drafts and publish API operated by Salamnder Social Studio, a sole proprietorship registered in British Columbia, Canada, from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (“we”, “us”). These terms describe that product. By creating a workspace, paying for a plan, or using the API or MCP tools, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Accounts and eligibility
Paid personal workspaces. You connect your own LinkedIn, X, and other supported networks. We do not post from a shared company seat and we do not spend our X API credits on your tweets. You are responsible for the words that go out, including views-your-own banking or market commentary.
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and able to enter a binding contract. The Service is not directed to children.
- If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and “you” includes it.
- You are responsible for everything done with your API key, OAuth grants, and sign-in links, whether by you or by an AI assistant you connected. Keep keys secret. Tell us at sal@salamndersocialstudio.com as soon as you suspect misuse, and rotate the key from /account.
- You must give a working email address and keep it current. Service and billing notices go there.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service, directly or through an AI assistant, to:
- post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that threatens or incites violence;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or post content you do not have the right to post;
- send spam, run engagement schemes, buy or sell accounts, or impersonate any person or organisation;
- publish misleading financial, medical, or legal claims, or anything that breaks securities, consumer protection, advertising, or election laws where you or your audience are;
- break the terms of LinkedIn, X, Meta, or any other connected platform, or evade their rate limits, bans, or content rules;
- probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service, other workspaces, or our providers, or share your keys across unrelated people or businesses;
- upload malware, or collect other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
We may remove content and suspend or close a workspace that breaks these rules, without refund, and may report unlawful activity to the platforms or authorities.
Your content
You own the drafts, media, and posts you create (“Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, display, and transmit your Content only to operate the Service for you: saving drafts, rendering previews, and sending posts to the platforms you connected. The licence ends when you delete the Content or your workspace, except for copies in routine backups that expire on their own schedule. We do not use your Content to train models or build datasets. See Privacy Policy, Tier B.
You confirm that you have every right, licence, and consent needed for the Content you post, including for images of other people, music, brands, and quoted material. We do not review Content before it goes out and are not responsible for it.
If you believe content stored on the Service infringes your copyright, email sal@salamndersocialstudio.com with the subject “Copyright notice”, the work claimed to be infringed, where the material is, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised. We will act on valid notices and may close the workspaces of repeat infringers.
AI-generated content
Many buyers use the Service through an AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini, or another MCP client). Anything that assistant writes, edits, or chooses to publish through your workspace is your Content and your responsibility, exactly as if you had typed it. AI assistants make mistakes, invent facts, and can misread instructions. You agree to review AI-written drafts before they go out, to configure your assistant so it does not publish without your approval, and not to hold us responsible for what an assistant published with your key. The Service never publishes a draft on its own: a publish is always an explicit call made with your credentials.
Third-party platforms
LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and any other connected network are run by other companies under their own terms, which you must follow. We do not control them. They can change or shut off their APIs, rate-limit or reject posts, delete content, or suspend your account, at any time and for any reason. We are not responsible for any of that, for a post that a platform alters, delays, or removes, or for a feature that stops working because a platform changed. Scheduled posts are sent on a best-effort basis; a failed send is reported in your workspace, and it is your job to check.
Publishing
Saving a draft does not publish. You (or your agent, with your key) must call publish_draft or POST /api/social/publish. That call is intentional. A draft on the shelf is not a live post.
Pricing and billing
Public list prices are $9 USD / month (Starter) and $19 USD / month (Studio), then $0.004 per extra API/MCP call. There are no lifetime deals. See /pricing.
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method the plan price, plus any applicable taxes and any overage we have announced in advance, at each renewal.
- Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may add currency conversion or foreign transaction fees. Sales tax, GST/HST/PST, or VAT may be added where the law requires it.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not want the new price, cancel before then.
- If a payment fails, we may retry it, mark the workspace past due, and limit or suspend paid tools until it is settled.
- The Free tier (100 assistant calls per calendar month, no card) is provided as a courtesy. We may change its limits or withdraw it at any time.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from /account or the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
7-day guarantee. If a paid plan is not for you, email sal@salamndersocialstudio.com with the subject “Refund” within 7 days of your first successful charge and we will refund that charge in full, no questions asked. To keep the guarantee fair to everyone, it has these limits:
- It applies once per person and per business, to your first paid subscription only. It does not apply to renewals, upgrades, re-subscriptions, or a new workspace opened under a different email or payment method.
- It is meant for trying the Service, not for using a month of it for free. If the workspace has published more than 10 posts or used more than 25% of the plan's included calls in the window, the refund is at our discretion and may be prorated.
- It is not available where the workspace was suspended for breaking these Terms, where a chargeback or dispute has already been opened, or where we have reason to believe the request is fraudulent.
- A refunded workspace is closed and its paid tools stop at once. Drafts and connections stay for 30 days in case you come back, then are deleted.
- Overage charges and any taxes we cannot recover are not refunded.
Outside that guarantee, we do not refund partial billing periods, unused calls, or periods in which you did not use the Service, except where the law where you live requires it, or where we charged you by mistake. If we close your workspace other than for a breach of these Terms, we refund the unused part of the current period. Refunds are processed within 10 business days and go back to the original payment method. Please ask us before opening a dispute with your bank; a chargeback on a charge we would have refunded may lead us to close the workspace. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Acceptance
Using the paid MCP or REST API means you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Checkout and the MCP authorize page require that checkbox. Bearer-only clients that have not accepted yet are pointed to /account. We record the version you accepted and when.
Access
A paid workspace gets a buyer API key. The operator studio lock continues to work and is not replaced by buyer keys. Operator use is not gated by these plans.
Suspension and termination
You can delete your workspace at any time from /account. We may suspend or close a workspace, with notice where practical, if you break these Terms, if a platform or payment provider requires it, if the law requires it, or if the workspace creates a security or legal risk to us or other buyers. We may also discontinue the Service or a feature with at least 30 days' notice by email; in that case we refund the unused part of any prepaid period. On termination your licence to use the Service ends; sections on content, liability, indemnity, disputes, and governing law survive.
No financial advice
This product publishes the draft you asked it to publish. It does not give financial advice, review your takes, or vouch for banking or market commentary.
No warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that a post will be delivered, remain live, or perform in any way. We do not promise any outcome from posting, such as reach, followers, leads, or sales.
Limitation of liability
Salamnder Social Studio is not liable for failed or delayed publishes, platform outages or account actions, lost or corrupted drafts, anything you or your AI assistant post, or anything a third party does with content you posted. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity, however caused and even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for all claims arising out of the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, or $9 USD if you paid nothing. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or to consumer rights that cannot be waived where you live. If something here is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Salamnder Social Studio from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party that arises from your Content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms or a platform's terms, or your violation of any law or anyone's rights. We will tell you promptly about such a claim and let you control the defence, provided you do not settle in a way that admits fault on our behalf without our written consent.
Disputes
If you have a problem, email sal@salamndersocialstudio.com first. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If that fails, the courts of British Columbia, Canada, sitting in Vancouver, have exclusive jurisdiction, and you agree to that jurisdiction. Nothing in this section stops either party from seeking an injunction to protect intellectual property or confidential information, or removes a right you have as a consumer under the law where you live to bring a claim in your local courts. Any claim must be started within one year of the event that gave rise to it, where the law allows that limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. The version date at the top changes when we do. For material changes we will email the address on your workspace at least 14 days before they take effect, and the new version will be shown on /account. If you keep using the Service after the effective date you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, cancel before then and the old Terms apply until your period ends.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
General
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier discussions.
- You may not assign or transfer your workspace or this agreement. We may assign it to a successor that takes over the Service, and will tell you if we do.
- If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including platform outages, hosting failures, and internet disruption.
- Notices to you go to your workspace email. Notices to us go to sal@salamndersocialstudio.com.
- The Service is operated from Canada. You are responsible for complying with the laws where you use it.
